Raw Material Use :

• Brown Clay from river bed.
• Volcanic black rock called serpentine rock.

Making Process :

1. Manual collection of Raw materials.
2. Grinding black rock into power.
3. Making Paste proportionately.
4. Manually shaping by hand.
5. Polishing and sun dried for two day subject to good weather.
6. Smoking process.
7. Heating or Baking process in bonfire.

Note: Total number of days taken to produce black earthenware or Black pottery is six days subject to favourable weather conditions.
